August 18, 2000 - KOA Speer Electronics has introduced an addition to its full line of integrated passive components with the DN5 and DNA series of Schottky diode networks. These terminator networks are excellent for relieving problems that can occur in high speed I/O such as overshoot and undershoot, ringing and bus reflections. Series DN5 and DNA networks are each designed as an 18-channel terminator housed in a single package and offer low parasitics, low forward voltage drop and fast recovery time. These networks are typically utilized to optimize bus performance in high performance computers, external data storage peripherals, LAN networks and other applications that demand high transfer rates.
