Superior Cut-off Characteristics from New Capacitor/Inductor Noise Filter

Bradford, PA - February 26, 2002 - A new line of 3-terminal capacitor/inductor noise filters is now available from KOA Speer Electronics. KC series filters offer sharper cut-off characteristics for noise reduction in datalines - making them superior in performance to 3-terminal capacitors. KOA Speer KC 3-terminal capacitor/inductors perform with little reflection and exceptional EMI attenuation for a wide frequency band.

KC series distributed constant circuit type noise filters feature a capacitance tolerance of ±30%, an inductance tolerance of ±15% and an inductance value of 10nH. The rated voltage is 25V with an operating temperature range of -40°C ~ +85°C. These filters are available in a 1206 case size and are suitable for flow, reflow or iron soldering.

KOA Speer KC series 3-terminal capacitor/inductors are designed for use in numerous applications including noise reduction for various signal circuits, clock output signal line, in/out video signal line (for extremely high resolution), and high speed signal line. Industry products include copy machines, mobile phones, CD-RW and DVD.
