Bradford, PA - March 12, 2001 - KOA Speer Electronics introduces the new 1H (0201) and 1E (0402) sizes to its RK73 line of flat chip resistors. The 1H and 1E resistors are lightweight and offer high reliability and stability. The precision tolerances (as low as ±.5%) and small sizes of these new resistors make them ideal for the demands of smaller, high performance, telecommunication applications. Resistance ranges (E-96) for these new sizes are 82 Ohms - 12 Kilohms for 1H (±2%) and 10 Ohms - 1 Megaohms for 1E (±1.0%).
The metal glaze thick-film design of the RK73 ensures excellent heat and moisture resistance. These components also feature anti-leaching nickel barrier terminations with 90/10 solder plating (standard). Tolerances include ±5%, ±2%, ±1%, and ±0.5% with a TCR of ±200 ppm/°C max. RK73 series resistors are suitable for flow and reflow soldering.
The RK73 series is available in sizes 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210, 2010, and 2512. These resistors are ideal for use in telecommunications, cellular, and other wireless equipment applications.
