New High Voltage Thick Film HV73 Chip Resistors

PA - May 1, 2006 - KOA Speer Electronics introduces the HV73, a new series
of High Voltage Thick Film Flat Chip Resistors with maximum working voltages
as high as 500V. These new resistors provide superior capabilities over
standard thick film flat chip resistors in maximum working voltage. The
HV73 chip sizes and voltages include: 1J: 350V, 2A: 400V, and 2B: 500V.
KOA's HV73 Chip Resistors reduce
spacing requirements and may decrease the total number of resistors needed
in high voltage applications. Through the use of metal glaze thick film
excellent heat and moisture resistance is assured. The available resistance
tolerances are: + 0.5%, + 1%, +2%, + 5%, and the resistance range is 10kO
- 51MO. The entire HV73 series of resistors is RoHS/lead free compliant.
Typical applications include: camera strobes, LCD monitors, navigational
equipment and DC - AC invertors for use in LCD TV's.
