New 8 Watt Power Shunt Current Sense Resistor in 2512 Size from KOA Speer

Bradford, PA – September 5, 2017 – KOA Speer Electronics introduces the PSL2 Power Shunt Current Sense Resistor, featuring an 8 Watt power rating in a 2512 package. This new power shunt resistor offers ultra low resistance suitable for large current sensing. In addition, the PSL2 has a broad operating temperature range of  -65°C to +175°C.

KOA Speer's PSL2 features a T.C.R. of ±115ppm/°C ~±175ppm/°C with a resistance tolerance of ±1%. These power shunts will be offered in resistance values of 0.3mΩ and 0.5mΩ and are AEC-Q200 qualified. The PSL is ideal for automatic mounting and is suitable for reflow soldering.

Used primarily for current detection, the PSL2 current sense power shunt resistors are ideal for transportation and industrial markets in applications such as DC to DC conversion, automotive modules, motor control and power supplies.

Lead time is 11 weeks and samples are available upon request. Please contact KOA Speer for more information.
