Bradford, PA - November 30, 2001 - A new highly stable, high frequency ceramic capacitor is now available from KOA Speer Electronics. The HFC series surface mount capacitor is stable across a wide frequency range and the single layer ceramic substrate construction ensures non-polarity, making it ideal for use in AC circuits where polarity may reverse. KOA Speer HFC capacitors also feature a narrow tolerance of capacitance, low dielectric loss at high frequency, and high self-resonant frequency (SRF).
The new HFC series is available in sizes 1005, 1410, 1608, 1610 and 1612. Termination material is 100% tin and the operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. Capacitance ranges include 0.10 ~ 0.60 pF (size 1005) or 0.10 ~ 1.20 pF (sizes 1410, 1608, 1610 and 1612). The HFC series is suitable for both wave and reflow soldering, and is packaged in embossed or paper taping.
