KOA Speer's New Power Shunt Resistor Offers Accurate Current Detection Up to 10 Watts

Bradford, PA – June 22, 2017 – KOA Speer Electronics introduces the PSG4 Current Sense Power Shunt Resistor, featuring a power rating of up to 10 Watts in a 2726 package. The PSG4 provides for more accurate electric current detection due to its 4 terminal construction. In addition, it offers superior heat resistance with an operating temperature of -65°C to +175°C.

KOA Speer's PSG4 resistor has a low T.C.R. of ± 50 ppm/°C, with a resistance tolerance of ± 1% and resistance values of 0.5mΩ and 1mΩ. The PSG4 is AEC-Q200 qualified and meets EU RoHS requirements. The PSG4 is ideal for automatic mounting and is suitable for reflow soldering.

Used primarily for current detection, the PSG4 current sense power shunt resistors are ideal for transportation and industrial applications such as motor control, inverters, DC-DC convertors, and battery management.
