KOA Speer Global Part Numbering System
January 15, 2002
By now you should have received the attached letter dated December 10, 2001 announcing KOA Corporation's new global part numbering system. This is the first of many updates you will receive between now and July 1, 2002 to make the transition as seamless as possible.
In order to get a better understanding of the new part numbering system, we have attached a cross reference guide. The cross reference guide provides one example for each KOA part type. It crosses the Old KOA Speer Part Number vs. Old KOA Japan Part Number vs. Old KOA Europe Part Number vs. New Global Part Number (both standard and lead-free).
The cross reference guide also contains additional information which details the new packaging codes and the new termination codes.
If you require additional cross reference information, please advise as soon as possible so we can accommodate any requests.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact your local KOA Sales Representative, any other KOA contact, or directly email Dena Johnston at djohnston@koaspeer.com. KOA Speer Electronics will continually post new information on our website at www.koaspeer.com.
